🦃🍠🌽 Thanksgiving Events in the Community

By Jodi Lorence, Macaroni Kid Publisher November 6, 2019

Thanksgiving is a great time to gather the family together to celebrate our history commemorating a harvest festival that had taken place in 1621 by the Pilgrims. This annual national holiday is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday  in November.

I have very fond memories of this special day in my family and now want to continue to carry on this tradition with my own family as well. Our traditional dinner includes: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, wild rice hotdish, a baked corn and bacon dish, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and a green vegetable (sometimes green bean casserole) and of course pies for dessert.  Wishing you and your family a day filled with good conversation, family, and a delicious meal, and of course lots of reasons for gratitude. Thanks to all of you for supporting Macaroni Kid. We appreciate you all.

Here are some events to enjoy with your family.
