Weekly Publisher Note ~ April 29-May5, 2021

By Jodi Lorence, Macaroni Kid Publisher April 28, 2021

Hello~

Welcome to all the new subscribers. We just love sharing local events, parenting tips, our guides, recipes, crafts, support for local businesses, giveaways, and more. Our goal is to make life easier for you as a parent when trying to find an event to attend both virtually and in person. We always welcome feedback on what you would like to see and also what you don't really like to see. Feel free to email me with any of your comments or concerts to jodil@macaronikid.com. I try to keep this source stress free. We have enough stress in our daily lives, news, and other sources of communication. So, grab your favorite beverage and maybe your planner and come and enjoy your time with use each week or during the week when necessary. Thanks to you all. Have a wonderful week enjoying the warmer springlike weather. Almost time to work in the garden.

Coronavirus Update!
Click here to read about updated Minnesota orders.
It is important that we follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Here is a great handwashing video to help prevent diseases like the Coronavirus. Here is a link to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention for information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and more at Whitehouse.gov and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Calendar update for Macaroni Kid - White Bear Lake, Shoreview, Roseville
I have been adding virtual and in person local events to our calendar as in person events start to open back up. I struggle with the fact that we are a source for events but yet to be safe, large group events are unsafe for the [andemic at this time. I will continue to add both virtual and in-perons events as they safely open back up but please know that it is solely up to you as a family obviously to make the decision on whether you feel safe for your family to attend. The changes we are experiencing at this time seems to evolve by the day. I am not the source to learn about those changes due to COVID-19 but I do want to say that I am doing my best to bring to you  events and activities that are occurring as we all navigate through the uncertainty of this world we live in at this time. With spring there is hope. Let's hope that we all move in a better direction.

I will be sharing resources on our Facebook Page too so be sure to check it out.
Love your family, take care of you. Stay healthy, safe, and happy and have a joyful week.
