Hello all,
Warmer weather has brightened my week. I am not a fan of the below zero weather we have had in the recent past. I am hoping that there is more of this warmer weather to come.
How are you doing as the kids are back in school? I give so much credit to each and every one of you as you adapted your lives to educate your kids at home or whatever choice you make with schools for your kids. We definitely practiced resilience and proved that we could get trhough almost anything that life throws at us. Bless all the teachers as they too have been adapting to the changes. I am hoping that we are on an upward path to a more "normal" llife. Wishing you all a wonderful week filled with happiness, family, and fresh air.
Check out all the fun on our calendar this week. Saturday is jam packed with winter fun. You can go to the White Bear Center for the Arts for a Art Car Event and Sled Dogs, watch Hockey Day in Minnesota on FSN which will be broadcasted right from the Rose Oval in Roseville. How exciting is that? I am a huge hockey fan so I love this day surrounded by hockey because we too usually are heading to a few games during the day. This year we will be watching on TV as the covid protocol only allows a certain number of people to attend the events. But, what fun. The Big Wood Brewery is hosting their7th Anniversary Celebration. Coronavirus Update!
As of July 25, 2020, per the Governor's Executive Order, people in Minnesota will be required to wear a face covering in all public indoor spaces and businesses, unless you are alone.. Click here to read about updated Minnesota orders.
It is important that we follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Here is a great handwashing video to help prevent diseases like the Coronavirus. Calendar update for Macaroni Kid - White Bear Lake, Shoreview, Roseville
I have been adding virtual to our calendar and some physical local events when they start open back up. I struggle with the fact that we are a source for events but yet to be safe, large group events are unsafe for the Coronavirus-19 at this time. I will continue to add virtual events and events that open up as guided by our state governor but please know that it is solely up to you as a family obviously to make the decision on whether you feel safe for your family to attend. The changes we are experiencing at this time seems to evolve by the day. I am not the source to learn about those changes due to COVID-19 but I do want to say that I am doing my best to bring to you events and activities that are occurring as we all navigate through the uncertainty of this world we live in at this time.
