Schools, parents, coaches, event planners, restaurants, and businesses are getting so creative when it comes to activities and events during Covid. The Library is no different and has adapted their events, activities and created take home bags and kits to support the social distancing and guidelines set forth by our governor.
Here are some of these creative options with the Ramsey County Library:
- Grab Bags
If you're looking for new books for your young readers but have no idea where to start, you can request a grab bag. The grab bags are a collection of items for your kids to explore curated by your favorite children's librarians.

It’s a cookie collaboration! Local author Timi Bliss and Chef Michelle Gayer read In Search of the Gingerbread Man, and bake gingerbread cookies together.
Bliss is a children’s picture book author and illustrator of stories prominently featuring Black characters, and uses digital collage techniques to combine basic geometric forms with bold and colorful patterns rich with texture and detail. This event is funded with money from the Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
