This cute little Easter Chick will certainly brighten your Easter table. Can be used for place cards or just a sweet little spring decoration.
Supplies:
Yellow construction paper
Orange construction paper
Wiggly eyes
stapler
glue
scissors
Directions:
First, Cut a strip of yellow paper 3" X 8 1/2 " and hold open ends together and round for head.
Next, make 2 creases. One about 3 1/2 inches down from one and the other 3 1/2 inches down from the other end. (This middle area will help the chick stand up.)
Then, hold the two ends together and staple at the top of the head (folded edges at the opposite end)
Next cut out two wings and have the kids cut slits in the rounded part of the wings stopping about 1" from the end (that is where you will place the glue).
Next glue the wings on the inside of the bird.
Then cut out the feet and the beak out of orange construction paper.
Have the kids glue on the wiggly eyes and the beak.
Lastly, glue the feet on the bottom between the two creases.
Enjoy!
