- Green Construction (cut out a leaf)
- Red paint, red crayon, or red marker

Directions:
1. Cut out an apple shape with the piece of cardstock.
2. Cut a stem from the brown construction paper.
3. Cut 2 leaves from the green construction paper.
4. Paint the apple red or color with crayons or markers if you don't have paint.
5. Let the apple dry.
6. Punch holes in the apple to be used as sewing holes (an even number of holes).
7. Thread your needle with red yarn and tape to the back of your apple to start sewing.
8. Put your needle through a hole in the back of your apple and go down from front to back into the next hole, pulling the yarn taught but not too tight to rip your holes. Continue going from front to back through each hole ending on the back of your apple.
