I hope you are all doing well. With hopes of spring and the new found sunshine it seems to make everything a little bit brighter.
Just a quick update.....My daughter and her Minnesota Women's hockey team beat Wisconsin last Friday night to play in the National Championship game vs Harvard. This past Sunday was a day I will NEVER forget. It was my daughter's last game of her college hockey career and not only did she win, but she scored a goal and they won the game by a score of 4-1. It was a hard fought battle but I can't be more proud or ecstatic for this beautiful group of girls. In her four years they have made it to the Final 4 all four of her years as a Gopher. This is her 3rd National Championship and one year they were 2nd place. This has been an amazing run for her and her team and although her season is over and she will move on in life, she will hold these memories with her for the rest of her life. It is so true that you can follow your dreams and make them a reality. She always wanted to be a Gopher hockey player and worked so hard training, practicing, and working hard with her school work because she always knew that all of those would be a role to help her reach her goals. I am a firm believer that what you put your mind to, can be achieved! You just have to believe!
