I hope you are all finding ways to stay warm. The cold weather came to stay I guess whether we wanted it or not. It is so hard to believe that next week is Thanksgiving. Our family celebrates the holiday with the traditional turkey and all the fixings. We continue to make some of the recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. I always make the Wild Rice and a dish called Squaw Corn. Everyone pitches in to have a wonderful day of good food, good company, and time to show our gratitude for the goodness we have in our lives. It is always a fun time preparing for the holidays. I try and hand make some gifts but many times I have to work like a little mad lady to get them all done in time. This year I was smart and started them last year so now I just have to finish up.
