I just can't get over this beautiful fall weather. Today was just like a perfect summer day. We spent most of the day outdoors. I thought it was SO cute as we were driving down the road today in the car and the boys (aged 3 and 5) had their windows open. The younger of the two put his arm out the window and said, "Aaaah, this is the life!" Cameron, the 5 year old said, "Yes, this is the life!" I just have to say that I LOVE the fact that at that young of an age that they can enjoy the simple pleasures of life. It made me smile!
Next week the little kids will be enjoying Halloween in their favorite costumes. Some are a bit scared on this day but soon they will see that the day = getting candy so they soon get over that. This year Cameron is going to be a pirate and Jordan is going to be a monster.
For the past two week-ends we have been out of town watching my daughter play hockey. The first week-end the Gophers played the Duluth Bulldogs and just last week-end we were in Madison, Wisconsin where they faced the Badgers. Both of those teams are rivals and the mini vacations we make out of them is great too. This week-end we are at home and we face the UND. It should be another awesome game. If you are interested in seeing what women's hockey is all about this would be a great week-end to do so. They are both awesome teams and it is always a great experience. My daughter is a senior this year but we are going to take in every moment that she has remaining.
